Lis Wiehl works as an American lawyer and writer who previously worked as the Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct professor at Law at New York Law School. Prior to that, she was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary on National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio show, The Radio Factor. She has appeared in The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File is a show with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs, as well as the Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl is she is a Yakima native who graduated from West Valley High School. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985, she was awarded her master of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded an Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor at the US Attorney's office. She was an NPR legal correspondent. She was the "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. She was a tenured professor of legal studies at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 She also directed the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was employed as an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001 to 2017.
