Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actress and writer popular for her portrayal of Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. In the 1950s she began her career as an actress on stage in Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. After that, she performed in several Broadway productions before she became a star on national stage alongside Li'l Abner in. Her first album, titled It's Time to Tina that same year. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film which was made in 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the movie. As an undergraduate in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next memorable role came from 1964, when she signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour was able to play between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she's also earned an impact as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex on August 28 in 1965. The family moved to Toronto to spend her youth. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She was there ever for the last ten years.
