Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the writer of numerous popular American cookery books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. The show has been running since 2002. Ina started her career as a writer at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy documents. She initially adored the intellectual stimulation of her job, but soon began to lose interest. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. After nearly 18 years of making the store a huge success, she sold it, and then began creating her first novel. In the following years, numerous cookbooks were published and she also wrote columns for magazines. The Food Network TV show also made its debut with great success. In addition, she sells a variety of products ranging from cooking supplies as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina she has not attended any cookery schools or employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her unpretentious approach to entertainment and simple cooking. Some of her most popular recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
